Copium growing in St. Petersburg |
Copium grows in St. Petersburg Copium represents SokoPro in Russia
Copynet Finland, the strongest delivery consortium within printing- and copying industry Oy established by Sokonet, Kopijyvä and Karhukopio, expanded to Russia. In the first phase a copying facility was founded in St. Petersburg to heavily invest in the new market and to gain the leading role within some particular market areas in Russia. The name of the company in St. Petersburg is OOO Copium. “Our decision to expand our activity to Russia was based on the desires of our customers. Our biggest customers have repeatedly demanded us to take advantage of the eastern services. The markets of copying services in Russia have lack of rational structure and no common ground in quality standards really exists. We offer our customers a broad service palette and renowned Finnish quality thinking. Copium will also provide the Russian markets with its leading project bank solution, SokoPro”, Jukka Silvennoinen, CEO of Sokonet, describes.
Copium has now been running over a year and is in a good pace. The idea is to eventually expand to other important construction industry cities. In the first phase in St. Petersburg it was the Finnish customers of Copium-group which were served. Now, with the expanded production capacity, the search for Russian companies with needs of on-the-edge technology, stable quality and flexible service has started. Copium is led by the country manager Ville Paasonen. Technology and development is, in turn, taken care of by Sokonet. Especially Sokonet’s project bank system has succeeded in Russian markets. Russia has even risen to be the second largest market area of SokoPro in terms of users. Finland is the first. Next in the usage list after Russia are Sweden and other Northern countries and China and the USA. Additional information of our service concept in the growing markets of Russia will be gladly given by Mikael Winberg. |
